And as always, Instagram was filled with emotional and heartfelt dedications to mums everywhere.

One gal that shared a truly lovely snap was Selena Gomez.
The singer posted a throwback picture of herself as a baby, with her mum holding her.
"I owe my life to you momma," she captioned the pic, which is so sweet.
Loads of fans and followers commented on the snap, wishing Selena and her mum a happy Mother's Day.
