Heather described her pregnancy news as a “huge shock” following a difficult fertility process.
After documenting and sharing her fertility journey with fans, Selling Sunset star Heather Rae El Moussa has announced that she is pregnant.
The realtor is expecting her first child with her husband Tarek El Moussa.
Heather announced the happy news with a series of beach photos on Instagram.
“Surprise!!!” she wrote in the caption. “Baby El Moussa coming in early 2023!!”
In the comments, Heather was immediately met with messages of congratulations from her co-stars.
Chrishell Stause wrote: “SO SO SO happy for youuuuu (…) Lucky little one to have you.”
Heather replied, calling her friend “Auntie Chrishell”.

Chelsea Lazkani, meanwhile, penned: “Aaaaaaaahhhhh (…) congratulations to the best, most caring and loving mommy. love you guys.”
Heather and Tarek first got together in 2019, and they subsequently tied the knot at a ceremony last Autumn. Tarek is already the father to two children, 11-year-old Taylor and 6-year-old Brayden from his previous relationship to Christina Hall.
Heather has a close relationship with Taylor and Brayden, and in the past has dubbed herself a “bonus mom”.
Speaking to People Magazine about her pregnancy, Heather spoke about the challenges she’s faced in her fertility journey to date.
“It was a huge shock,” she said. “We just weren’t expecting this. We had just gone through IVF. We had embryos on ice. We had a plan.”
She continued: “I think when you least expect it and there’s no stress in your life, the world just brought us what was meant to be. I’m so excited that it happened like this.”
Tarek told the publication that he is “obsessed” with his children.
“They’re my everything, so having another one is just icing on the cake. I’m so excited.”
