So what is a ‘sex menu’ and why should I think about making one?

Time to get frisky.

Denise Curtin

It’s and women are still having fewer orgasms then men.

What the f*ck is that about?

The “old age tale” of sex ending once a man ejaculates, is some serious Hollywood bullsh*t and it is now time for women to reclaim their sex lives because eh… who wants to have sex if only one partner is benefiting? Not I.

So, something that is doing the rounds at the moment, as a way for women to get exactly what they need in bed, is a sex menu.

So what is a sex menu you might ask? Well… a sex menu is basically a list of what turns you on and off in the bedroom. The things that feel good and well… the things that could be left off. We’re talking positions you like, locations you prefer, whether you like it lights on or off, sensual massages, getting your hair pulled or using toys.

This is also a chance for you to say things that your partner could do less of without being insulting like, if you feel he touches you too vigorously or doesn’t go down enough, this is the time to write it down.

The menu will also give you an opportunity to discuss how you both can improve your sex like for the better. Communication is key and too many of us are often ashamed to speak out about what we like and dislike in the bedroom – but it is nothing to be afraid of and getting it on between the sheets is meant to be FUN above all else, so don’t be afraid to speak up.

We are at the age now where sex is meant to be fun, passionate, exciting and above all else satisfying! So why the f*ck is it not all those things right now? Like I always say, and you can quote me on this, if he doesn’t make you cum, he’s not the one hun.

Get cracking on the menu and you’ll never look back.
