Shane Filan is dedicating new Westlife album to his late parents

Westlife’s Shane Filan has revealed he will be dedicating the band’s new album to his late parents who both passed away during lockdown.

The band are set to head on a massive arena tour to perform their new album Wildest Dreams, and the lads have already sold out Wembley Arena in London.

Shane has taken to Instagram to post two pictures of the album, showing the cover and the dedication written for his parents on the inside of the sleeve.

Showing his followers and fans, the singer wrote: “That feeling when you hold your new album in your hands for the 1st time! .. never gets old!!!

Fans were just as obsessed with the album cover as he was, with many taking to the comments to tell Shane just how sweet it was.

One commented: “They would be so proud Can’t wait to listen to it.”

Another said: “Cannot wait to hear this your mam & dad be beaming be down on you with pride.”

A third added: “They would be proud and their love will reach u in every single moment.”

While a fourth said: “This is gorgeous. Your parents would be soo soo proud. So excited about listening to it.”

Westlife’s latest album was released today, Friday, November 26th after the lads spent the three lockdowns creating the new music.
