Simon Cowell is letting his four-year-old call the shots for World Children's Day

Simon Cowell’s four-year-old son dressed up as his famous father and is in charge of his parents for World Children’s Day.

Eric Cowell is giving us all a bit of a chuckle on a dreary Tuesday as he’s dressed up exactly like his dad. The four-year-old oozed self-confidence in photos which emerged today in which he is wearing Simon Cowell’s trademark uniform – aviator sunglasses, an unbuttoned white shirt, baggy blue denims and black shoes.

The apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree!

World Children’s Day was established by Unicef and aims to get every child access to education so that they can reach their full potential.

The Daily Mail reported that in support of this occasion, fifty-nine-year-old Simon Cowell and his forty-one-year-old partner Laura Silverman,

“allowed their son to ‘make all of the decisions for the day’, to honor the occasion, which ‘is a day of action for children, by children'”.

The publication reported that Simon expressed his desire for his son to follow in his footsteps when it comes to his career success:

“My dream would be to see him one day running the company I have built. And the most important lesson I have learned is what children teach you. They all have a voice.”

And Eric’s mum said she is fully supportive of Unicef’s mission:

“Every child in the world deserves rights and a voice, thankfully today we can celebrate with Eric, and his brother Adam and many children who do have this – but there are many more who still need our support to be able fulfill their potential.'”

We just hope for Eric’s sake that he grows up with a better sense of style than his dad!
