‘You have to do it’… Sofia Vergara shares mammogram clip on Instagram

She's spreading the message.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the US and Sofia Vergara is urging women to get checked out. The Modern Family star took to Instagram over the weekend to share a video of herself in the doctor's office. In the clip, Sofia is sitting beside a mammogram machine with a smile on her face.

She captioned the post: "You have to do it!!!," along with the hashtags "#mammogram," and "#medicalimaging." This isn't the first time Sofia has posted about getting checked. Back in May of last year, the actress posted a picture just before she got a mammogram to inspire her followers to always get checked early.

It's good to see someone with such a high profile encourage her fans to raise awareness for breast cancer.
