WE CAN'T HANDLE IT!

It was widely rumoured last month: Meghan and Harry were due to come to Ireland for their honeymoon.

Swoon!

And now it seems – or certainly further rumour is abound – that the royal duo have indeed arrived on our shores.

Numerous social media sources have stated that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently (in a right now kinda way) at Ashford Castle Co Mayo.

Indeed, locals in the area say that roads in the locale are closed off and security is HIGH.

The site on which the five-star Ashford Castle is situated dates back some 800-years and has in the past looked after some seriously high-profile guests; Rory McIlroy and Erica Stoll furthermore married there last year.

On May 19 – Meghan and Harry’s wedding day – the BBC reported that: “We know that they’re going to hit the ground running.”

Indeed, the broadcaster stated that “they are going to be doing quite a lot of travel,” – explaining that a trip to Dublin was the highly likely first stop on their international itinerary.

Kate and Wills have never been to Ireland in an official capacity, but The Queen made a historic trip in 2011. And earlier this year, it was widely rumoured that Charles and Camilla would be coming to see us shortly also.

In the interim, we’re keeping our eyes on Ashford Castle.
