The show will return in September.
So there have been A LOT of rumours surrounding the 2018 series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Fans have been asking questions like “who will be on the show?” and “who will host” etc etc.
However one big thing fans have been asking is will there be a same sex couple in the new series?
A fair question, considering it’s 2018 lads.
Anyhoo, Strictly bosses have released a statement about this issue:
“Strictly has chosen the traditional format of mixed-sex couples and at the moment we have no plans to introduce same-sex couples.”
Hmm… bit shit no?
Earlier this month, Judge Rinder spoke to The Teleraph about the idea of same-sex couples on the show.
“It would be great if it happens!”
It sure would!
