Harrowing news from Australia this week.

A young mum has tragically died after she was trapped inside a charity clothing bin.

The 33-year-old was discovered hanging “half in, half out” by a member of the public in Western Australia.

Alarrah Lawrence leaves behind her 15-month-old son.

She has been described as “a breath of fresh air” and will be deeply missed by her loved ones.

The mum’s death has been described as a tragic incident. Speaking about the loss of Alarrah Lawrence, Rockingham Detective-Senior Sergeant Andrew Elliott said:

“Through our investigation so far it seems to be a non-suspicious death where a person has tragically died through very unfortunate circumstances. It seems she became trapped and unable to remove herself from the bin.”

It is believed the mum died from asphyxiation.

CCTV footage sees the mum-of-one arrive at the Stockland Baldivis shopping centre at around 1.40 am on Tuesday.

Reports claim she stood on a bucket to look into the charity bin properly. The mum then searched through the clothes, but slipped off the bucket, which caused half of her body to get stuck in the charity bin.

A member of the public discovered the young mum at 5 am.

Our thoughts are with her family and friends during this harrowing time.
