Ones to watch!

Denise Curtin

Ohhhh baby it’s cold outside.

Happy March 1, or more like December 25 by the height of the snow currently outside my window. It most certainly does not feel like spring here as we batten down the hatches and revisit our box of winter woolies as we cosy up by the fire.

And since the majority of people have today off, it really is a day for daytime telly and unnecessary munchies. So to help you from aimlessly flicking through the channels (we all fall victim to zombie scrolling), I give you five great picks on telly today.

A New Life in the Sun – Channel 4 – 4pm

Two British vineyard owners up and leave for the hills of France, while a couple from Warrington struggle to find a Spanish villa for their business.

Take Me Out – ITV2 – 7:50pm

Paddy McGuinness welcomes another panel of 30 single women to appraise the merits of men seeking romance. This time, the show welcomes an Englishman, and Irishman, a Scotsman and a Welshman, all looking for that special someone.

The Supervet – More4 – 18:55pm

The the show turns to police officer Stephanie and surveyor Benjamin are now living together and learning that the path to true love does not always run smoothly.

The Young Offenders – RTE2 – 9:30pm

A family trip is on the cards in tonight’s episode of The Young Offenders. After some discussion Jock is eventually included, bringing along his keen navigation skills and unique sense of entertainment to pass the time, most certainly one to watch tonight for much needed laughs.
