You probably never want to hear Baby Shark again but it looks like the buzz is far from over.

The most annoying children’s song of 2018 has inspired a range of toys – and they’re very popular.

The cuddly Baby Shark range includes Mummy, Daddy and Baby, all of which sing the notorious Youtube hit.

Created by WowWee, the same company that created the uber-popular Fingerlings, the toys were launched for pre-sale on Amazon earlier this week in the US.

They sold out in three days.

Originally priced at $17 (€15), the most popular toys in the range are now being resold online for as much as much as $159.99, according to USA Today.

They’re set to be fully released on 15 December.

The Baby Shark toys are soon to become available in the UK too, retailing for £15.

They were available for pre-sale online from toy store The Entertainer but have already sold out.

Shoppers desperate to get their hands on the toys can add their names to a waitlist to be notified when they come back into stock.

The retailer has said it is hoping to get another delivery of Mummy, Daddy and Baby Sharks in in the next two weeks, just in time for Christmas.

No word on whether they’re being stocked anywhere in Ireland but we’ll let you know if we hear.

Baby Shark was first launched on Youtube by kids’ channel PinkFong in 2016 but went viral around the world this year, clocking up over 2 billion views and even landing in mainstream music charts.
