The Voice Kids is returning and they’re currently looking for the next big star

Melissa Carton

Is your child the next big pop star?

The Voice Kids is back and they’re on the lookout for the next big musical talent.

With a £30,000 bursary and a family trip to Disneyland at stake, the competition this year is going to better than ever.

The Voice Kids’ returns for a second series exclusively on TV3 kicking off from Saturday, July 14 at 8pm.

Returning to their big red chairs will be Will.I.Am, Pixie Lott and McFly frontman Danny Jones.

They will be coaching the contestants as they compete for the prize of a lifetime. The competition will air every night across one week from the 14 to the 21 of July.

The show is open to children aged between 7 and 14 and last year was won by 14-year-old Jess F.

The young singers will perform in the Blind Auditions and try to nab one of 12 spots on each coach’s team.

After the Blinds, the youngsters move on to the Battles, where three singers from each team link up to perform together for each spot in the Semi-Final.

There are no Steals on the Kids show it means there are no second chances for the coaches.

Four singers from each team then appear in the Semi-Final before viewers at home get to choose the winner in the spectacular live final on Saturday 21st July.

The winner will receive a £30,000 bursary towards their musical education plus an amazing family holiday to Disneyland Paris.

The competition will start later this month and I can’t wait to see what fantastic voices will be taking part this year.
