This Birthday Card Is Giving The Internet MAJOR Feels

This birthday card has been viewed nearly 2 million times on Reddit in three days. The card belongs to Steve and Bill, the uncle of redditor, LincolnsLostSpeach's fiance and his cousin. The inside of the card reads: "Save this card. You can send it to ME on my birthday." Perhaps not a great greeting card business model but the duo faithfully stuck to the directive and have passed it back and forth on each other's birthdays for 47 years. It was purchased for 25c and has been re-gifted nearly one hundred times. Reddit users were impressed with the men's dedication to a long-running joke. It even brought up bittersweet memories for some users with one commenter, lizleighZRX1200R, posting the following moving story of her father and grandfather exchanging the exact same card. "I can't adequately describe how much this has made my morning. My father and maternal grandfather passed this same exact card back and forth for years until my grandfather's dementia prohibited him from doing much of anything anymore. We still have the card somewhere, and it looks much the same, with names crossed out from year to year. At some point, they started writing the years next to their names to keep some sort of track. My grandfather died a few years ago, and it's been years since I've seen it. I can't thank you enough for the inadvertent rush of nostalgia and wonderful memories this morning."
