Three nurses fired after they squashed a newborn baby in viral video

Three nurses from Saudi Arabia have been fired after a video of them squashing the face of a newborn baby went viral. The nurses can be heard laughing as they grab the baby by the face and neck and push the child's face inwards. The baby's parents were horrified when they became aware of the shocking treatment by the nurses after footage emerged online and continued to be shared on social media. The nurses were soon identified from the video and work at a maternity hospital in Taif, Saudi Arabia. Their medical licences were immediately revoked and they are forbidden to practice nursing in other health departments. Social media users were also outraged by the footage with one person commenting: "How dare they do this to a poor innocent baby, thankfully their licenses were taken away because this is absolutely disgusting." While another commented... "Horrified by this - how dare they take advantage of a child like that."
