A toddler was left terrified after a passenger screamed in their face during a flight. Flying can be a pretty daunting experience, especially for young children, so it’s only natural for them to cry.

However, one passenger lost their temper with a young boy on a recent flight, leaving his family horrified.

The boy’s mum, Sophie opened up about the experience in an interview with WalesOnline.

She explained that her son Leo was extremely upset during the flight, but she was doing her best to calm him down.

“The engines started up and Leo started crying, he was crying for a while and then a man in his 60s or 70s in the seat in front screamed in his face ‘shut up’ at the top of his voice.”

The mum added, “He was pointing in Leo’s face as well. I warned him to get out of Leo’s face.”

“I put my hand up and asked one of the staff if they could move us,” Sophie shared. Unfortunately, the air hostess said it would take 10 minutes.

The mum added, “I told them that we couldn’t wait as the man was screaming at us.”

Her son, who is only 2 years old, was so upset that he nearly got sick.

Thankfully, one kind couple offered to swap seats with Sophie and her family.

She praised them for being so selfless during such an intense and stressful time.
