The spokesperson added, "We sent an ambulance crew and an incident response officer to the scene.
"We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance. We treated a patient at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre, by road, as a priority.”
Reports state the infant boy fell from a height in the Dawlish Road area.
He was treated at the scene but was then rushed to a major trauma centre.
Luckily, his condition is believed to be not life-threatening. However, he is being treated as a priority at the hospital.
Police officers have launched a full investigation into the incident.
A spokesperson for the Met Police said they're following all lines of enquiry.
