Tori Spelling accused of dissing stepson in 'National Love Our Children Day' post

Step-families can be tricky at the best of times without your Instagram followers stirring the pot.

Tori Spelling has been accused of ‘shading’ her step-son in a post on the site this week.

Tori shared a snap of herself and 1-year-old son Beau to mark ‘National Love Our Children Day’, writing that she’d been “blessed to be raising and loving these 5 unique and special humans.”

She paid tribute to her children with husband Dean McDermott.

“Thank you Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn, and Beau for choosing me to be your mama!”

While many fans shared good wishes with the actress, some called her out for ‘shading’ Dean’s son Jack.

The 19-year-old is Dean’s child from his first marriage to actress Mary Jo Eustace.

It’s not the first time Tori has been accused of leaving Jack out – she got a fair bit of slack in December when she shared a family photograph for Christmas and didn’t include her stepson.

Jack’s mum Mary Jo previously revealed that Tori paid her child support on behalf of Dean when he wasn’t able to.

“I was on that path to go back to court again in November,” she told Us Weekly.

“That’s when Tori reached out to me and basically said that she would be covering the alimony because Dean didn’t have any money, and she would be doing it.”

It all sounds very complicated.
