Could your kid be the star of the show?
Last week it was announced that a musical all about the phenomenon that is the Late Late Toy Show is currently in the works.
Toy Show the Musical will be coming to the Convention Centre this December, and the musical's casting director, Maureen Hughes, is on the lookout for a young girl to play the show's lead.
The main character is Nell, who is described as a "bright and brilliant 12-year-old girl with a wonderful spirit and great singing and dancing skills".
Hughes and the show's director Séimí Campbell are looking to audition girls between the ages of 11 and 16, who have a playing age of 12.
Those interested in auditioning should apply via the official website
right here. The application requires them to film themselves singing the verse and chorus from a song. They will also be asked to talk about themselves on video and share any hobbies, relevant skills, or party pieces.
The successful applicants will then be short-listed for an in-person audition, which will be held in Dublin in June. There, they will meet Hughes and prepare a monologue or poem to perform. They will also be asked to sing once more.
The closing date for entries is midnight on Friday, June 3rd.

Last Friday, Late Late Show viewers were treated to a rendition of the show's lead song All The Same, which was performed by RuthAnne and a host of talented young singers, including Toy Show star
Saoírse Ruane.
