A woman has welcomed quintuplets after years of struggling with her fertility. New mum Stephanie Freels welcomed five babies on June 4th and the family has finally returned home.

The mum and her husband Graham became parents for the first time in June when Stephanie gave birth to quintuplets.

The infants had to spend some time in hospital after they were born, but they returned to their family home in Washington this month.

27-year-old Stephanie Freels gave birth to her babies via emergency cesarean section.

The mum struggled with her fertility for five years before becoming pregnant with quintuplets.

Stephanie found out she was pregnant at the beginning of this year after several rounds of intrauterine insemination. She also underwent an ovulation induction.

The couple’s medical team revealed they were pregnant with not one, but five babies in late December. Talk about the best Christmas gift they could’ve asked for.

Speaking about their new family members, the mum said it feels incredible to be home together.

“It’s amazing having them at home and it’s so nice not having them go back and forth to the NICU,” they told GMA.

The babies all weighed two pounds at birth, but are now thriving. Stephanie gave birth to four girls and one boy. They are called Adelyn, Eliana, Linnea, Fisher, and Harper.
