Send this to your friend who recently welcomed their first baby
Welcoming a baby into your life for the first time is one of the most incredible, but overwhelming experiences.
As many parents know, the first few months of motherhood (and let’s be honest, years) can feel isolating and intense.
Wrapping your head around all of the changes that come with having a baby is a lot so having your friends there to support you makes the world of a difference.
Many of us think sending flowers or other gifts is the best thing to do but one woman recently shared the best thing you can do for a new mum.
Cameron Rogers revealed the one message you should send to those you’re close to if they’ve recently given birth.
In a now-viral video, she revealed that simply being there for them is the best thing you can do.
She even shared an example of the text you can send your loved one.
“Good morning love! I am yours from the hours of 12 to 3 tomorrow so please let me know how you would like to use me. Here are some options.
“I come while you hang with the baby and I do laundry, bottles, cooking, and buy and put away groceries.
“I come and take care of the baby while you sleep in your room alone or you go do something by yourself or you guys go out to lunch the two of you without the baby.
“I come and take you out to lunch with or without the baby.
“And we sit on the couch and just chat or watch a funny movie with the baby. You can decide whenever you want just let me know!”
The genius message is perfect because it’ll make any new mum feel supported, and less alone as they adapt to this new chapter of their life.
