Viewers have been left in tears after the first episode of
Born Too Soon aired on Virgin Media last night.
The docu-series follows the team at Cork University Maternity Hospital as they care for babies in the NICU unit.
The moving series aired last night and the staff blew viewers away with the incredible and life-saving work taking place
The highly emotive series gives a full-access look into the lives, both in and out of the hospital, of the families, babies, and staff in the busy newborn intensive care unit (NICU) at Cork University Maternity Hospital.
Viewers praised the team for dealing with such intense situations in such a delicate and sensitive way.
One mum wrote, "Having spent four months in the CUMH NICU with a 25-week preemie baby, I can only say the people who work there are utterly incredible.
"It's hard to watch the show as it takes you back but also great to see the staff show the amazing work they do #borntoosoon."
