Una Healy reveals ‘time is a healer’ in first interview since splitting from Ben Foden

One month ago, the news broke that Una Healy and Ben Foden had split after six years of marriage.

It was reported that Ben Foden cheated on Una Healy with a friend in PR. According to The Sun, the rugby player had a fling after a party with his rugby pals and apparently, reports of the affair got back to Una, which led her to break up with Ben. Ben then confirmed his single status and his file for "divorce" by taking to the dating app, Bumble, creating a profile. It is now reported that Una is back in Ireland with the pair's children while Ben is moving to the US for a rugby deal.

Una, who has been handling the break-up in silence has now spoken out for the first time since the pair parted ways. Speaking to Hello Magazine, The Saturdays star said: "Life is tough but you’ve got to keep a positive attitude. Time is a healer as well. "Someone told me ‘Don’t look back, you’re not going that way’ and those words inspire me, as does the famous quote of Winston Churchill. If you’re going through hell, keep going.” The star also admitted that her world has been "turned upside down" since the split. Focusing on moving forward, she admitted that she cannot wait to get back into the recording studio.
