The horror Waterford crash involved a car and a pedal cyclist.
A teenage girl is in critical condition in hospital after a serious road accident in Waterford.
She was airlifted to Cork University Hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
A helicopter transported the young girl to the hospital after the accident.
The accident occurred on Clonea Road in Dungarvan on May 26th.
The crash involved a car and a pedal cyclist.
Gardaà and emergency services arrived at the scene shortly after 4 pm.
The female driver (30s) of the car was treated for shock at the scene. However, she did not require any other medical treatment.
The Forensic Collision Investigators conducted a technical examination.
This has since concluded and the road has reopened.
Anyone with information should come forward, Gardaà stated.
Witnesses with footage, including Dash Cam, should contact Gardaà immediately.
They’re also calling for witnesses who were in the Clonea Road area on Thursday afternoon.
