Teenage girl in critical condition after horror Waterford crash

She was airlifted to Cork University Hospital, where she remains in critical condition.

A helicopter transported the young girl to the hospital after the accident.

Gardaí and emergency services arrived at the scene shortly after 4 pm.

The female driver (30s) of the car was treated for shock at the scene. However, she did not require any other medical treatment.

The Forensic Collision Investigators conducted a technical examination.

This has since concluded and the road has reopened.

Anyone with information should come forward, Gardaí stated.

Witnesses with footage, including Dash Cam, should contact Gardaí immediately.
