WhatsApp to stop working on over 50 phone models

Hugh Carr

Is your phone on the list?

WhatsApp will no longer be supported on 53 phone models in November, due to their obsoletion.

The devices will no longer have support for the WhatsApp app and will be incompatible starting next month.

In a note on their website, WhatsApp have said that they “will no longer support Android phones running OS 4.0.4 and older on November 1, 2021”.

They recommend that people who wish to keep using WhatsApp to upgrade their devices or to save their chat history before November to prevent loss of data.

Here is the list of phone models that will be affected in November;
