Met Éireann say today will be a gorgeous day, so whip out those sun glasses

We’re only delighted.

We’ve dealt with the rain, we’ve dealt with the hailstones and we’ve definitely dealt with the cold.

But things are looking good this week as temperatures are going to rise up to 15 degrees.

Met Éireann say that the day will be bright and sunny, so whip out those sun glasses before the weather decides to change its mind again.

The weather forecaster said: “Any frost patches will clear this morning to leave a mostly dry day with a mix of cloud and sunny intervals. The cloud will be thickest across the west and northwest of the country with the chance of a few patches of rain here. Highest temperatures ranging 11 to 15 degrees in light southerly breezes.”

It was supposed to rain yesterday too, but didn’t – so we’re holding out hope.

And for tonight: “Largely dry overnight with long clear spells. However, cloud will thicken in the southwest later in the night with patchy drizzle developing here towards dawn. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees in light southeasterly breezes.”
