The Australian parliament introduced new laws last year allowing women to feed their children there in support of a more "family friendly" environment. Australian MP Kirstie Marshall was ejected from the parliament in 2002 when she attempted to breastfeed her 12 day old daughter in the chamber. So proud that my daughter Alia is the first baby to be breastfed in the federal Parliament!
