DIY designer notebooks for Mummy and baby projects this weekend

HerFamily

September has begun: are you ready to DIY the heck out of this school term? If so you can start here. These fancy school jotters are fun for kids, but we’ve taken to stashing a few of the most fashionable away for our own use.

Make a few this weekend and you’ll be too cool for school…

DIY1

What you need

  • A tarpaulin or old bed sheet
  • A couple of cans of spray paint in great colours
  • All the boring jotters for Maths and Irish you can get your hands on

Directions

1. Lay the jotters on the protective surface with about five or six inches between each one.

2. Mist the spray paint back and forth on the jotters until you build up a layer of deep colour. Repeat for the back.

3. Admire your handiwork.
