difficult questions kids ask

A recent study confirmed what we all know to be true – kids ask a lot of questions.

Like; A LOT.

In fact, according to the UK’s Independent, on average, a young child will bombard their parents with more than 500 questions every single week.

And when you think about it, you will realise that this number is all sorts of accurate.

As part of a recent study, a group of UK-based parents were questioned on their children’s questions, and they admitted that while a curious mind may be the obvious culprit for the most relentless questions, half of the parents had also noticed the questions increase when their child overhears adult conversations.

When it comes to what questions parents admit to dreading being asked, these 10 topped the list:

Parent’s top 10 most challenging questions include:

1. Why do people die?

2. Where did I come from?

3. What is God?

4. How was I made?

5. What does “we can’t afford it” mean?

6. Is Santa real?

7. Why do I have to go to school?

8. When you die who will I live with?

9. Why is the sky blue?

10. Why can’t I stay up as late as you?

Does this resonate with you, parents? Have your child or children come to you with questions you struggle to answer? What were these and how did you handle it? Let us know in the comments.
