Remember Fingerlings?
I’m sure you do. Heck; if your house is anything like my house, you probably have a few of them floating about somewhere, alongside a mountain abandoned of Loom Bands and figet spinners.
They were the IT toy over the holidays season, and Santa probably broke his back carting those little plastic monkeys around to households across the globe.
And now? Well, steel yourself, because WowWee, the company behind the Fingerlings craze, have now brought out a mini version, and they are landing to our shores very soon.
Intended to be a bit of a collectible (that’s how they get you, isn’t it?), these tiny Fingerlings are smaller and even cuter than the original, and can hang off everything from pencils to necklaces to actual full-sized Fingerlings.
And for an extra element of surprise, each Fingerling Mini will be sold in a “blind bag” that includes one mystery mini monkey, unicorn, or sloth along with a mix-and-match bracelet and tail charm.
The micro Fingerlings, while not robotic like the original toy, come in the same animal characters as their larger counterparts. There’s a monkey (in white, light blue, pink, purple or teal), a unicorn (in white, lavender or pink) and a purple sloth.
Oh, and just to make sure they’ll want one, Fingerlings Minis also include a bracelet with tail charms to hang on original Fingerlings.
