Body Hair Is a Major Turn Off For Irish Women, Reveals Survey

HerFamily

If you like a bit of body hair (think Pierce Brosnan, Jon Hamm and Tom Selleck), then you are in the minority.

A new survey by Thérapie Clinic revealed that only 6 per cent of women find thick hair on a man’s chest appealing with three quarters admitting that they find back hair unattractive.

It will come as no surprise that four in 10 women revealed that they would or have encouraged their other half to remove their body hair.

As for the most annoying type of body hair on themselves, over a third of women said that the upper lip area is the worst.

Speaking about the findings, Thérapie Clinic Surgeon Dr Andre Nel said: “This research shows that, across the country, Irish people’s attitudes towards body hair are on both men and woman are changing and as a nation, we’re becoming more inclined towards removing body hair.”
