Casey Batchelor responds to trolls who attacked her postpartum body

She gave birth just six weeks ago.

Casey Batchelor has hit back at online trolls who criticised her postpartum body in the little-over-a-month since she welcomed her first child. The 33-year-old took to Instagram earlier today to share a bikini snap and admitted to being hesitant about posting. However, proud of her body, Casey said:

“Was debating if I should post this pic or not but thought why the hell not! “Rocking the post-pregnancy mum bod.”

But that didn’t stop some of her followers from continuing to knock her.

“You still look pregnant soz,” wrote one follower.

Those comments were quickly outnumbered by messages of praise and support for the new mum.

“I’m so glad you posted this,” one wrote. “I am six weeks postpartum today. You look fantastic!”

Another person responded to the trolls, saying:

“She’s showing she’s a real woman and comments like this are disgusting, no need at all.”

This post comes just weeks after Casey posed for a shoot with New Magazine with her newborn baby girl, Florence.

“This shoot was just three weeks after having Florence to show you what a real body looks like after just giving birth,” Casey said of the shoot. “We don’t bounce back to a size eight… we really do still look pregnant.”
