She needed some support after a “very rough day”.

Chrissy Teigen took to Twitter to ask moms to share “stories of their kids being mean to them” after a difficult day – and they were happy to oblige.

The model, who is a mum to one year old Luna, reached out to her fellow parents on Twitter Friday night for some support after a “very rough day.”

She told her followers:

“I am having a very rough day and it would help me a lot if any moms would like to share stories of their kids being mean to them.”

And the moms and dads of the Twittersphere were only happy to deliver.

More than 7,500 people replied to Chrissy’s original tweet, with many of them sharing their own tales from some pretty rough days.

The various stories clearly struck a chord with some parents.

Chrissy’s Twitter thread quickly went viral, getting a staggering 4,700 retweets and 77,000 likes.

It comes after the cookbook author’s husband John Legend admitted he hopes their daughter Luna will take after her mum when it comes to her sense of humour.

He told People:

“I hope she does [share her sense of humour].

“Chrissy’s [sense of humour] is definitely more keen than mine is.

“[Luna] likes to laugh and she likes to make us laugh.

“Either way, we just want her to be intelligent and a good reader and loving and kind and all those good things.

“If she’s funny and talented, that would be awesome.”
