The photo has attracted a lot of attention.
Chrissy Teigen was forced to defend herself from mummy shamers after she shared a photo of herself and Luna at the playground.
The cookbook author recently posted the seemingly innocent picture of her and her 20-month-old daughter about the head down the slide on Instagram.
And while Chrissy looks excited in the snap, Luna – perched in her mum’s lap – looks a little apprehensive about it all.
The model captioned the photo:
“Weeeee are very skeptical of slides right now.”

But people are quick to point out the position of Luna’s legs in the photo – in particular, that the toddler could seriously injure herself.
One person said:
“Just a heads up that this can break your little one’s leg! I have three friends who have had this happen!
“None of them had ever heard about it happening, so then I felt really bad for not mentioning it.”

Someone else added:
“I know the broken leg thing seems over the top, but it happened to me and my nephew.
“He was (3) and I went down the slide with him and his foot bent under my leg and he got a spinal fracture of the leg. Not to mention the ER visit and screams of pain (that) lasted hours.”

“I did this when my son was a little over 1.
“The slide has a small bump in it and when we bounced his leg bounced off my leg and got twisted.
“He has a possible hairline fracture and was casted for a month. I felt terrible!”

“This did happen to my almost 2 year old son while riding down a slide on my sisters lap.
“It was shocking to find out how common it was and devastating as a parent to see your child in pain.

Chrissy eventually waded into the discussion, commenting on the situation with a fairly healthy dose of sarcasm.
She wrote:
“Wish you guys would have told me about the leg thing earlier. They broke.
“Both of them. And everyone else’s in the park broke too just from watching it happen.
“There are some many broken legs here.
“(heads up photos are a one second moment in time, I was lifting her onto my lap.)”
