Chrissy Teigen is EVERY mum at the Oscars (*she fell fast asleep)

In theory - the Oscars is an unimaginably glitzy event that most of us can only dream of.

In reality; all that getting ready and day-time champagne would result in it only one thing: us falling asleep by 9pm. And we're glad to see that mum-of-one and all-round hilarious woman Chrissy Teigen is no different. Yes, the 31-year-old model has won over the internet once again by falling asleep at the biggest red-carpet event of the year. With her husband John Legend beside her, the model was seen dosing in the middle of Casey Affleck's acceptance speech.

In fairness, and regardless of whether you're a parent or not, it must be one of the longest days in showbiz: preparation, pre-parties, red carpet, interviews and then the whole event itself (you'd be exhausted). And it clearly got the better of Chrissy when she was spotted snoozing. Naturally, everyone was quick to point it out and laugh about it.

Chrissy has been married to John Legend, 38, since 2013. They first met back in 2007 on the set of one of his music videos and last April their daughter, Luna, was born. Ms Teigen has spoken openly about her initial struggles to get pregnant - revealing that the couple turned to IVF in order to help them start their family.
