There are certain things you just don’t let your children do – and steering a moving car is definitely one of them.

This dad clearly did not get the memo, because he recently posted a video of his 10-month-old daughter behind the wheel of a moving car on a busy Bangkok road.

The original video has since been deleted, but duplicates have appeared online showing exactly what the dad allowed his baby to do.

The footage shows the 10-month-old gripping the steering wheel and looking around as the car travels down a main road.

Her dad, Teerapat Duangdennakthong, added captions to the video saying things like “what are you looking at? I’m learning to drive,” and “I’m totally crashing into anyone in my way.”

Unsurprisingly, people failed to see the funny side to the father’s video.

He faced harsh criticism from users in Thailand, and all around the world, who called him a “moron” and a “murderer.”

Others were also quick to point out that Duangdennakthong hadn’t even put his daughter in a car seat.

According to Bangkok news site Coconuts, the 29-year-old dad said that he realised he was being reckless, but that he usually uses a car seat when travelling with his daughter.

“She was sitting on my lap. I didn’t force her. She just stood up and touched the steering wheel,” he said.
