Dani Dyer responds to ‘annoying’ comments about how she’s weaning her baby

Unsolicited advice isn’t welcome around here.

Being a new mum is no easy feat. You’re juggling 101 things, recovering from birth, grasping with a brand new chapter of life, and trying to be the best mum you can possibly be.

Some days can be complete bliss, but others can weigh you down, especially when people are passing remarks on your parenting techniques.

At the end of the day, every parent is different and the last thing a new mum needs is a bunch of unsolicited advice.

Dani Dyer recently called out mum-shamers who were criticising her for weaning her baby boy before 6 months.

The former Love Island star has started to give her 5-month-old son Santiago porridge in the morning, but her followers claim the mum is trying to influence other mums to do the same.

The 24-year-old was unsurprisingly unimpressed with the remarks, “I’ve heard a little bit of that on Instagram where I’ve shared that now he’s five months I’ve started him on a bit of porridge in the morning and people are so anti-weaning before six months, which is fair.”

The reality star said she understands everyone is entitled to their opinion, but she thinks it is unfair to claim she’s trying to persuade other mum’s to follow in her footsteps.

“It is a little bit annoying when people are telling me I’m influencing others to do it when I’m not,” she shared.

“I’m just saying what I’m doing in my life,” she stressed.

“We’re all so different. If I want to give him a bit of porridge in the morning, I’ll give him a bit of porridge in the morning,” the mum added.

Nobody understands Dani’s son better than her so maybe mom-shamers should just keep their unwanted advice to themselves.

We’re all just trying our best.
