Dublin Zoo is offering an amazing family deal on 24 November

Forty-year-olds get free admission and children’s entry is also half price that day.

There’s no family day out like Dublin Zoo, and it’s even better when ticket prices are reduced.

The popular Phoenix Park tourist attraction occasionally offers discounts on admission and they’re doing it again on Saturday 24 November.

Sibu, Dublin Zoo’s beloved Bornean orangutan, is turning forty and to celebrate this milestone birthday, Dublin Zoo is offering free admission to all forty-year-olds and half price kids entry.

So, if you were born in 1978, Saturday week is your lucky day!

To celebrate Sibu’s special day, the Zoo has lined up some extra special treats such as arts and crafts, an extra special keeper talk and orangutan games. The kids will be in their element!

Money will also be collected on the day for the Orangutan Foundation who work to save orangutans by protecting their tropical forest habitat.

To avail of the offer, valid photo ID must be presented at the gate and kids tickets must be bought at the ticket office at Dublin Zoo as half-price tickets are not available to purchase online.

For the month of November, Dublin Zoo is open from 9:30am-4:00pm with the last admission at three.

And they also have a night-time exhibition currently running.

Wild Lights 2018 is open to the public from 5pm until 9pm. It will end on January 6. Throughout November, Wild Lights will be open every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening.

Tickets for this exhibition are available exclusively online.
