The Duchess of Cambridge swears by this trick when George, Charlotte or Louis misbehave

She is a busy mum of three young kids and has been homeschooling like the rest of us for months now.

The Duchess of Cambridge has previously spoken about what life in lockdown has been for her family, as they stayed socially distant away from the other royals at their country home, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk. There is no denying that the 39-year-old is a very hands-on parent to George, Charlotte and Louis, and according to The Sun, Kate and William are very much in agreement when it comes to how to discipline their brood.

'There’s no naughty step but there is a "chat sofa",' a source told the newspaper. 'The child will be taken away from the scene of the row or disruption and talked to calmly by either Kate or William. Things are explained and consequences are outlined – they never shout at the children.'

Kate, of course, is passionate about early childhood education and avoiding the word ‘naughty’ reflects the most current research about how kids learn. Family nanny Maria Borrallo, who has worked with the Cambridges for six years and even stayed on for quarantine is also a fan of the ‘firm, but fair’ approach.

According to the source, 'Kate and William, along with Maria, are strict with the children but have a magic ability to appear not to be. It is a military operation but you’d never guess it because they work ferociously hard on their children’s upbringing and making it seem relaxed and happy for them all.'
