Holly Willoughby has revealed why she won't let her daughter Belle wear her hair down for school.
The mum-of-three revealed her strict parenting rule for her eight-year-old during a chat on
This Morning on Friday.
The segment involved a debate with Bonnie Miller, a mum who is trying to keep her son's hair long at school. And while the conversation began with the idea of boys having long hair at school, eventually the debate turned to the topic of head lice.
“I've got young children, similar age and my daughter, she's got long hair, she always wants to wear her hair down at school," she said, via
The Sun.
“I always say to her, 'You can't darling, you have to put it up'. I always hate it when that dreaded letter comes round and there's head lice in the school and they've all got their heads together."
Holly and her husband, Dan Baldwin, have three children together: 10-year-old Harry, eight-year-old Belle and five-year-old Chester.
They normally keep their family life private, only sharing the occasional photo of their children on social media.
