She had a fantastic response to them.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum was mommy shamed by social media users after she shared a photo of her in a revealing bodysuit.

The actress, who shares a 4 year old daughter named Everly with Channing Tatum, is currently in the UK with her husband while he promotes Kingsman: The Golden Circle.

She posted a photo of herself standing on a balcony in a sheer black bodysuit on Instagram earlier this week.

The dancer captioned the post:

“Cheeky balcony series.”

And some of her social media followers had plenty to say about the snap, claiming the actress was being a bad role model to her young daughter Everly.

One person said:

“Not flattering to you as an intelligent woman.

“You look great but don’t need to role model objectifying your body parts on IG – or teach young girls to garner attention by sexual images of themselves on IG.”

Another wrote:

“Of course she is hot but poor Everly. What signals is she sending to her young daughter?

“Mummy’s bum is all over the net. Lead by example.”

Meanwhile, a different person said:

“You leave little to the imagination. #notclassy yeah kinda trashy. She usually isn’t posting this [kind of] nudie stuff.”

And while plenty of fans rushed to the 36 year old’s defence, the Step Up star had an epic reply of her own.

While she didn’t address the comments directly, she posted a follow up Instagram shortly after with the quote:

“You can tell who the strong women are.

“They are the ones you see building up one another instead of tearing each other down.”

Alongside the photo, she wrote:

“To all the strong women out there. May we be them, may we know them, may we raise them♥️ Rise above judgment and step into love.”
