Mum concerned over her partner’s social media behaviour

How often does your other half post?

Does he post pictures of you? Of your children? Do they have pictures of their ex...? Because that's this mum's problem. She took to Mumsnet to ask women their advice on how to handle her partner's social media behaviour. She said:

"We've been seeing each other for 3 years but on his FB he still has pictures of him & his ex, and all the pics he seems to upload are of himself & his 2 sons. Not a single pic of us together. My ex whom I left for him used to upload pics of us together & some of him & my teenage son. I haven't asked him because I don't want to start an argument."

There were a lot of mixed reactions to the post, with one mum saying:

"I think it's fine if he hasn't bothered deleting old pictures. It can be a bit petty to try and "delete" all trade of someone (although I understand why someone might). "Re: no pictures of you. Depends. If he mostly only uploads pics of himself and the kids that seems ok. If he is uploading pics and it seems like he is actively omitting you but anything else goes then that's a bit weird."

While another wrote:

"I think it’s odd... 3 years and not one photo together, along with the single status?! Sounds like he’s trying to play down the relationship. To whom though?? "Have you tried uploading a photo of the both of you and tagging him in it?"

What would you say to this mum?
