There’s an amazing event coming up for little scientists, and it’s totally FREE

This sounds like fun!

There's nothing more important than nurturing curious little minds! We recently learned of a brilliant event for little scientists being held in Dublin, and we're got excited. So excited that we just had to share it with you mums! The gorgeous humans at Arnotts will be hosting their super-popular STEM event on Saturday 13th October! The STEM event is a celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths and aims to engage and inform kiddos to the ways of the world around them in an interactive and entertaining setting. It honestly sounds brilliant, right? Dr Jennifer Cleary, expert science extraordinaire, returns with even more wacky experiments and fun science tricks. Her in-store appearances are a must see for all those budding little scientists and will take place at 12pm, 1:30pm and 3pm. Irish engineer, scientist, performer and one of Ireland’s leading space explorers, Dr Niamh Shaw will also be in-store on the day at 12:30pm, 2pm and 3:30pm with crew mate Stargazer Lottie also in attendance. Recently voted one of Ireland’s leading science communicators and STEM specialists, she will share her thoughts on the story of space and encouraging all children to dream big. A message we totally support! Throughout the weekend, kids can enjoy interactive workshops with Djeco Arts and Crafts which aim to encourage creativity. Engage children's imaginations, and get hands-on learning on how to build robotics and create code with the Trinity Walton Club, a unique learning hub set up to spark curiosity and ignite innovation. Known for their entertaining teaching devices, Head-U puzzles will challenge kids to enjoy new ways of playing and learning with jigsaw creations. Throughout the weekend, there will be face painting, arts and crafts and much more making sure kiddos of all ages are entertained.
