We just can’t Let It Go.

The weather has been a bit all over the place lately, which means the temptation to stay in and snuggle up with a good movie has been seriously real.

And, if you’re finding yourselves in a similar boat tonight, we’ve got some good news: Frozen is on RTÉ One this evening.

The 2013 animated film will kick off at 6.35pm.

In case you need a refresher as to what Frozen is about, it explores the aftermath of when the newly-crowned Queen Elsa accidentally uses her power to turn things into ice to curse her home in infinite winter.

Her sister, Anna, teams up with a mountain man Kristoff, his playful reindeer Sven, and Olaf the snowman to change the weather condition .

The perfect time to catch up ahead of the animated film’s sequel, which is due to hit cinemas later this month.

Frozen 2 is expected to pick up three years after the events of the first film, when Elsa starts to hear a strange sound which is calling her to the north.

Alongside her sister Anna; Kristoff; Olaf and Sven, they embark on a new journey beyond their homeland of Arendelle in order to discover the origin of Elsa’s magical powers and save their kingdom.

Original cast members Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad are all returning for the film – as is Santino Fontana, who plays Hans.

This Is Us’ Sterling K. Brown, Westworld’s Evan Rachel Wood and Alfred Molina are all also joining the film.

  • Frozen 2 is set to hit Irish cinemas on November 22.
