Giovanna Fletcher reveals she is ‘done with having any more children’ – and here is why

Giovanna Fletcher

She is a mum of three gorgeous little ones.

But in her latest interview, Giovanna Fletcher admitted she is definitively done having kids. At least that’s how she feels now.

Speaking to You magazine, Fletcher, who is being hailed as the most relatable parenting guru out there, opens up about the shock of finding out she was pregnant with her third child and admits she sometimes feels like the ‘worst mum ever.’

We must admit, we love keeping up with Mrs Fletcher’s Instagram feed and Youtube videos, as few people keep parenting and motherhood as real as she does.

The 35-year-old regularly posts the chaotic reality of raising her three boys (Buzz, five, Buddy, four, and Max, 18 months). And while she insists she’s a ‘guru who knows nothing about what she’s doing’, let’s just all agree that her success suggests otherwise.

Her 2017 book Happy Mum, Happy Baby was a bestseller, and the book spawned the now popular podcast series of the same name, on which she interviews celebrities about their experiences of motherhood. In fact – Fletcher recently chatted to the Duchess of Cambridge about raising George, Charlotte and Louis, and Kate’s country-wide ‘5 Big Questions’ survey.

But going from two to three children is tough going – even if you are a celebrity, and in her new book Letters on Motherhood, Fletcher admits that she felt ‘sick’ when she found out she was unexpectedly pregnant with her third child.

She said: “I showed the test to Tom and it’s telling that he was overjoyed but my reaction was to cry”

She continues:

“I was so knackered. Tom and I had always said we’d like to have a third, but we were thinking maybe in a couple of years when, career-wise, I could take a step back from work. I was daunted.”

Now that Max is here, the famous mama admits she loves being a mum-of-three, but she is in no way tempted to have a fourth baby.

“Never say never – Max happening was the best thing ever – but physically I’m done.”
