And it seems like parents are not allowed in, until the last day anyway: "Most grandparents feel that the spirit of Grandma Camp requires that the parents be gone for at least part of the time.
"Sometimes the parents are invited for the final day or hours of the event. That’s not a bad idea, as the grandparents may need some help by then."
Grandma Camp organisers also think you should set up sleeping routines, eating charts and cleaning rotas... so you know, it takes a lot of planning. While we love our kids spending time with their grandparents, we think a few days of camping - full with kids - might be a bit too much to handle.
