Actress Jaime Pressly says she has a favourite child and her words have other parents talking

Do you have a favourite among your children?

Many parents would say absolutely not and that it was unfair to play favourites with your children. Others like my grandmother make it very clear which of their children they consider the golden child. I think modern parents feel like it's wrong to pick a favourite, not just because might hurt their other children's feelings but also because of the backlash from other parents. That is of course unless you're actress and mum Jaime Pressly who recently posted on social media declaring which one of her children was her favourite. https://www.instagram.com/p/B3QNDbuh7OS/ Jaime posted a photograph of herself and her son Dezi to Instagram and very openly and honestly said he was her favourite child.

"Best time ever hangin with my favorite son, Dezi. That’s right I said it. I have a favorite son although I luv all 3 of my boys with everything I have in me. Dez and I have a special bond that no one else will ever match because we’ve grown up together."

https://www.instagram.com/p/BxYTOpaFJ42/ Even though Jaime explained that the reason she says her eldest Dezi is her favourite is because they share a special bond and have 'grown up together', some parents weren't happy with her playing favourites.

"I feel so sorry for your other boys... I can't imagine how this must make them feel. This is heartbreaking." "I really truly hope that this is not how you really feel. If so, why use social media to make your other children feel bad. Please tell me this is a joke." "That's an insane thing to say when u have other children. I feel for the others. Saying that I do agree with some of the parents who commented that it isn't fair to say you have a favourite child on social media as your other children might see it down the line. I know being a parent of two if I said I preferred one over the other, the other child would be extremely hurt. What do you think about what Jaime said?
