#entertainingathome: Jennifer Garner has a brilliant hack for keeping kids occupied when working remotely

Working from home at the moment?

Due to the Covid-19 public health crisis, parents across Ireland are currently trying to balance looking after their children with working from home.

For some, it’s a completely new experience and trying to juggle both is far from easy.

However, there are some who are familiar with remote working and thankfully, they have some tips that will come in handy.

Actress and mum Jennifer Garner knows this all too well but she’s devised a system for keeping her kids entertained while she works and it’s actually pretty clever.

A few months ago, the mother of three posted a game she uses to keep her kids entertained along with photographs to help people figure out how to play along.

It’s not a new tip but at the same time, it’s sure to come in useful over the next few weeks as mums and dads attempt to come up with ways of keeping your little ones entertained.

“If your house has run out of fun (‘Mom, I’m bored ‘) here’s an idea: my kids (plus one crafty nanny ) made little construction paper animals and hid them, taped on walls, all over the house. An alligator behind the kitchen sink, a sloth hanging below the TV, a sheep in the powder room,” she wrote. “They were busy and happy for a long time, and finding the animals is.”

Simple but very clever.
