We’ve always been a fan of Ryan Gosling, ever since we fell in love with him in The Notebook, and this week he went even higher in our estimations.
As well as being a talented actor and a doting father, the actor knows what’s what when it comes to the sexes (and yes, we are totally biased of course).
During a recent interview with the Evening Standard magazine, he was asked whether he thought America was ready for a female President.
He said: “I think women are better than men… They are stronger. More evolved.
“You can tell especially when you have daughters and you see their early stages, they are just leaps and bounds beyond boys immediately.”
The father-of-two continued: “I’ve always liked women more. I was brought up by my mother and older sister. I found my way into dance class.
“My home life now is mostly women. They are better than us. They make me better.”
Ryan and his partner, actress Eva Mendes, have two girls – one-year-old Esmeralda and one-month old Amada.
