Kathryn Thomas shares adorable tribute to mark daughter’s first birthday

Kathryn Thomas has opened up about how her "whole word changed" after she gave birth to her daughter as she shared an adorable birthday tribute to her little girl.

The Operation Transformation host and Padraig McLaughlin welcomed their daughter, Ellie, on March 23, 2018. The 40-year-old said that she "felt the world shone with a different light" after Ellie's birth as she shared a photo of her this time last year. She captioned the post:

"A year to the day. 10.02am Our whole world changed. Our daughter came into our lives and honestly I felt like the whole world shone with a different light. "Happy birthday gorgeous girl. We love you."

The RTÉ host's post was soon flooded with well-wishes from friends and fans, sending happy birthday messages to Ellie. In March last year, Kathryn took to Instagram to confirm that she had given birth to a "gorgeous girl". Ellie McLoughlin was born on Friday, March 23 at 10.02am and according to Kathryn, she is "the most perfect thing I've ever seen." The Operation Transformation presenter took to Instagram to announce the news a few days after Ellie's birth. Sharing a photo of Ellie's feet, she wrote:

"Ms Ellie Mcloughlin couldn’t wait any longer to meet us. "Our gorgeous girl was born Fri 23rd March @ 10.02am. She is the most perfect thing I’ve ever seen and Mum and Dad are totally and utterly in love."
