Kym Marsh admits she keeps her son's ashes next to her bed

”We miss you every day.”

Kym Marsh has taken to twitter to pay tribute to her late son Archie. She gave birth to the baby boy just 23 weeks into the pregnancy.

On Saturday she posted a sweet poem on twitter along with a message for Archie.

“This day 8 yrs ago my baby boy got his angel wings. Happy birthday my beautiful Archie. We love you very much and we miss you every day,” it said.

The actress has been speaking out publicly about Archie lately following a storyline in Coronation Street which involved her character Michelle going through the same thing.

On the soap, Michelle found out that she would not be issued a birth certificate for her baby which is something Kym is campaigning for in real life.

A few weeks ago, Kym spoke out about how she is hoping that this storyline will raise awareness and encourage others to campaign for this to be changed.

She also said that the term ‘late miscarriage’ bothered her.

”It really annoyed me and it angered me. I had just given birth to a baby. I didn’t miscarry my baby, I gave birth to him, and why is there no birth certificate?” She said.

“The clue is in the name, ‘birth certificate’. So why? Because he didn’t survive? Because he wasn’t ‘viable’? What is that? When I’m not here anymore, no-one will know that my baby existed. And that’s the thing that upsets a lot of women, where you can’t have a birth certificate.” She told Digital Spy.
